Around the world with the young people #IVLP

Embark on the journey with International Visitors Leadership Program participants! Education in Liberia and Philippines, women's rights in Suriname, football in Ukraine, teaching English in Kyrgyzstan and politics in Brazil. The world of future is right in front of you.

In 2020, our founder, Maja Dębowska, was invited to participate in the International Visitors Leadership Program. It is an invitation-only exchange program organized by the U.S. Department of State for people from around the world. Each year, US Embassies worldwide nominate participants who visit the USA for a 3-week-long educational program and learn more about their area of expertise from the American perspective and experts; learn more about the US culture and American people – as well as from other participants. The people we have interviewed were participants of the IVLP online in October 2020 that focused on working with and for young people.

For the next few weeks we are going to publish interviews with IVLP 2020 participants. Every Friday you can expect another amazing story from a different part of the world. We hope to inspire you and present the wide possibilities in which you can engage and change the reality starting from your nearest community.

Stay tuned!
